The Galipo family learned the secret of tradtional ice-cream making in Capo D’Orlando, Sicily. When they came to Canada they settled in 1959, they settled in the heart of “Little Italy” and began developing ice-cream that was worthy of their name “Sicilian.”In the old country, we called it Gelato, in the new new country ice-cream. No matter what you call it, one thing is for sure - it keeps you coming back for.

The Galipo brothers were the original creators of the original “Sicilian Tartufo.” Of which chocolate Zabajone Tartufo is by far the most famous of all.
